Vidcon x LIONS Merger, Followed Since Dead, Discord Releases + the Affinity 100
Hello! Welcome to the newsletter, and to the last day of Summer 2026 in the Northern Hemisphere! As we enter the last three months of the year, I want to remind all the creators: take advantage! Q4 of the year is the single best time for brand deals, advertising, and general spending. The best thing you can do is post a lot more YouTube content (if you're monetized), and on stream, have an honest conversation with your community about increasing the amount of ads you're running. Find a middle ground that works for everyone. It's the only time of year I generally think interruptive ads are worth it on a platform like Twitch for mid-sized creators, in nominal value compared to the damage they do by interrupting the content. (But I also recommend trying to limit the damage by planning those breaks).
Also, leave a comment below if you would be interested in a content calendar/guide for Q4! Now, let's jump into the news!
