YouTube Changing Membership Prices, New Twitter X Dashboard, Withdraw from Sub + Valkyrae Signs with CAA

šŖ TWITCH
- 2K (1440p) and Dual Format are now more widely available to creators as part of Enhanced Broadcasting.
- Dual Format streaming is available via Streamlabs Desktop.*
- Twitch rolled out Euro payments via SEPA to Eurozone creators this week.
- Twitch will soon launch a Withdraw from Sub option for European Union users who, within 14 days of subscribing, can receive a refund as required by European law. Despite (unexpected) online concerns, I suspect that after this week, no one will even remember this is a thing, as the impact should be minimal.
- Weekly Rewards have had a wider launch, with badges that upgrade as long as you watch a creator's content (live, vods, clips) at least 3 times per week. This round ends on July 26, 2026.
- You can now post Twitch Clips directly to your Snapchat account.
- Twitch's AI Summaries are now being actively tested.
- A 35% Shared Discount on 5+ Gifted Subs is running from June 25 to July 3.
- Twitch will be in Cannes this week, serving up Gelato at the Kappa Creamery.
- There is a new long scrolling sales page for Turbo.
- New Badges: Detroit Become Human Triangle š, Detroit Become Human Circle š°, Two Point Museum Skull š°, Two Point Museum Pickle š

- YouTube is updating the mobile app UI to simplify the look and feel.
- YouTube is planning to update Membership Pricing to better reflect exchange rates and local costs. Creators will be able to intervene and set new custom prices.
- You can now tag Amazon products in YouTube Shopping for Livestreams, Videos, and Shorts.
- Hootsuite released 40 YouTube Stats worth knowing in 2026.
⬠TIKTOK
- TikTok Shop has banned the use of AI voices in livestreams.
š¦ OTHER PLATFORMS
- Kick is apparently undergoing major financial changes to limit losses, including capping most streams at 720P, ending Dreamhack and F1 contracts, and considering a Kick Pro subscription to access 1080P (and other perks).
- Ukraine is working with Kick to block illegal gambling advertising. They currently already do this with Twitch, YouTube, Meta, and others.
- Twitter X revealed a preview of their new streaming dashboard.
