Together for Good, TikTok Bulletin Board, Streamer Award Voting + AngryGinge Celebrity
Hello and welcome to the weekly recap! This week, we've seen some very interesting updates from Twitch, YouTube, and the broader industry. In fact, one of the most notable trends over the past year has been the increasing number of creator platforms that have launched support for video + microblogging content. Services like Patreon and Beehiiv have expanded beyond their traditional markets (fan funding + newsletters, respectively) and are becoming more like micro-social media platforms. Even Amazon Music and TikTok are getting in on community microblogging. As a creator, being aware of what's coming is the best starting point. I'll have some better analysis and insight on all of these platforms/services soon, thanks to this next announcement!
Welcoming Streamlabs!
I'm excited to welcome Streamlabs as my primary brand partner across formats! Streamlabs is working on innovative ways to help creators and advance the streaming industry. An example of that innovation is their recently launched Stream Shift, which allows you to switch between Desktop and Mobile streams seamlessly. Their work aligns with my own mission to empower creators with the information, insight, and tools they need to build more sustainable careers. This partnership will enable me to deliver more value to you and bring to life some things I've been wanting to create for a long time. I'm very excited about it! I posted a video with more details if you're interested.
