• The Partner Plus Program is changing how it counts Tier 2 and Tier 3 subs, ᵀ from 1 point each to 2 and 6 points, respectively. This should make a couple hundred other creators eligible for the program. They also defined what constitutes abuse and would render you ineligible for the program.
• Twitch Partners can now see how many Partner Plus points ᵀ they have on their revenue analytics dashboard.
• Twitch is permanently shutting down the Moments ᵀ beta test on October 5, 2023.
• Featuring Clips ᵀ now allows you to change the title and prevents the original clipper from deleting them.
• Subtember ᵀ is now live - save 25% on 1 or 3-month subs at any tier, or 30% on any tier for six months. For Partners, there's a way to get a 98% sub split ᵀ from it!
• Dan Clancy suggests a possible update to Guest Star could be a system that connects you with other creators. It sounds like he might be describing Omegle or DanRoulette.
• Twitchcon's complete list of exhibitors and sponsors is now public! Time to plan who you want to check out!
• Twitchcon claims Saturday tickets ᵀ are nearly sold out.
• A Danish Twitch streamer was fined 10,000 DKK for advertising an unlicensed gambling provider.
• An AI parody of French President Emmanuel Macron on Twitch was shut down (and promptly started streaming on Kick.)
• According to the H3 podcast, Dan Clancy was visibly upset about the joke at Twitch's expense. (*Edited as the previous message said he was upset about ishowspeed winning variety streamer. While visually 'true' it's not what the above clip mentioned.)
