Hello all, and welcome to the weekly recap of the streaming and creator space! We're just a few short days away from Twitchcon San Diego 2025. If you haven't already checked out my Annual Event List, I've been updating it daily with new opportunities and events! 🟪 TWITCH
- Twitch shared an update on view counts, addressing some of the theories. Check out my video discussing what's new in this update!
- Due to growing fears about attending Twitchcon, Twitch has shared a blog post about what they are doing to keep you safe at the event.
- Twitch is exploring a new "Lead Mod" role.
- Polish Prime subs are increasing payouts from $1.45 to $1.67.
- I made a long video (47 minutes) exploring viewership trends by language and added context about the more interesting regions where creators are pushing Twitch to offer more value.
- In a recent stream, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy opted to give a $100 direct donation so that Twitch wouldn't take a cut of his support.
- Twitch hosted a party at its Irvine office to celebrate Twitchcon.

🟥 YOUTUBE
- YouTube is officially launching the "Second Chances" program, which will give previously terminated channels a chance to return to the platform after a rule rollback.
⬛ TIKTOK
- TikTok Creators in Canada and the USA can potentially receive 70% of sub revenue, plus a 20% bonus.
- TikTok LIVE is adding something called Tiles, which are collectibles that you can redeem for rewards.
- Barron Trump might be appointed to TikTok America's board.

- 70,000 users on Discord may have had their government IDs leaked.
- Discord launched a Halloween promotion for Nitro.
- Discord shared their October Patch Notes recap.

- Facebook is shutting down the Gaming Creator Program in 2026.
