Hello, and welcome to the last Monday of November. It's also exactly one month till Christmas! I don't know about you, but I've been swamped trying to complete everything: Medical things, eye exams, banking, accounting, content creation, planning, and more. I neglected things throughout the year that I needed to get done. Fortunately, considering a lot of content creation/streaming sentiment has felt a bit negative lately, it also offered a reasonable distraction and, oddly, an opportunity to recharge. 🟪 TWITCH

• A new promotion offers a 35% discount when gifting 5+ subs. Note: The discount is shared between Twitch and creators.
• A new promotion offers users $1 they can use towards a purchase.
• A Bonus Round will return to Twitch from December 23 to January 2, with discounts on self-paid subscriptions and a bonus sub when gifting five.
• An experiment will prompt chatters to create a clip when the chat moves faster than usual.
• There will soon be a Top Clips Leaderboard that sits alongside your Bits and Gift Sub leaderboard.
• A mobile experiment brings categories and collection modifiers to the Discovery Feed.
• Elon Musk added Twitch to its lawsuit, alleging they conspired to boycott advertising on the platform.
• Twitch Co-Founder Emmett Shear, interim CEO of OpenAI for three days, was paid $3720 for the experience.
• Twitch Co-Founder Justin Kan is launching a music company called Thin Ice.

• YouTube is starting its initial rollout of the new Hype feature.

• TikTok may enable creators to build AI versions of themselves to "expand the boundaries of live streaming."
• You can now set custom names for certain accounts you follow on TikTok.

• A legal firm is investigating Kick about potential data concerns.

🔲OTHERS

• LinkedIn is unifying its standalone Live Audio Events feature with LinkedIn Live.
• Netflix's Paul vs. Tyson fight had 65 million peak viewers, its largest event yet.
• A new crypto streaming platform Parti is aiming to get traction with potential streamer deals. Something feels off about this; too many unknowns.
